Bear McWhorter has built a great relationship with Alabama football’s coaching staff.
McWhorter is a 2026 offensive lineman out of Cass High School in Georgia. He is getting recruited by Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson, Florida, Florida State and others.
The Crimson Tide are showing him a lot of love at the moment with Kalen DeBoer, Chris Kapilovic and Christian Robinson making a trip to see the junior on Thursday.

“It’s very strong,” McWhorter told Touchdown Alabama when asked about his relationship with the Tide. “I’ve spent more time with coach DeBoer than any other head coach out there. They are recruiting me very hard right now.”
Alabama will get the Georgia product back on campus at the beginning of next month and possibly multiple times after as McWhorter has an official visit locked in with the Tide.
“I am going to the junior day on Feb. 1st and have my official visit locked in for the May 31st weekend,” McWhorter said. ” I will most likely be at a spring practice as well.”
At 6-foot-4 and 290 pounds, McWhorter is an agile offensive lineman, who shines at the guard position with his ability to work to the second level and be physical in the trenches in the run game.
