Alabama will be well represented in Super Bowl LIX. Five former Alabama players will be suiting up for the Philadelphia Eagles in the game.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts, wide receiver Devonta Smith, offensive lineman Landon Dickerson, offensive lineman Tyler Steen, defensive lineman Byron Young and cornerback Eli Ricks will represent the Crimson Tide.

Hurts, Smith, and Dickerson have been key pieces of the Eagles offense. Hurts and Smith have connected on 76 passes for 909 yards and eight touchdowns. The duo has been crucial to the offense’s success and will need to continue to be in the Super Bowl.

Dickerson has been an integral piece along the offensive line as he has played both guard and center for the Eagles. He is the glue that holds everything together up front.

Steen has played in all 17 games and made two starts. He was a starter in Sunday’s NFC Championship against the Washington Commanders.

Ricks has been a key depth player for the Eagles this season. He has played in seven games.

Young has not played in any games this season as he has been on injured reserve.

If the Eagles were to win the Super Bowl, it would be the first time that a player has won the Super Bowl from Alabama since 2022. That player was A’Shawn Robinson who was a part of the Los Angeles Rams defense.
