Alabama will be well represented at the Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. Originally, it was slated to be five players, but defensive back Malachi Moore withdrew due to injury.
The other four players that are set to participate in the game are quarterback Jalen Milroe, punter James Burnip, tight end CJ Dippre, and defensive lineman Tim Smith.
The Alabama alumni will compete against some of the top players from college football this past season. Each of them will have the opportunity to undergo pre-draft interviews with NFL front offices and receive hands-on coaching from NFL coaches the entire week.
Each of the Alabama players that were selected to the game will represent the American team.
A lot of eyes will be on Milroe. He is a projected first-round pick and could elevate his draft stock with a strong performance in the game.
Burnip is arguably one of the best punters in Alabama history. He had a great leg and made things difficult for opposing offenses. Some NFL team will take a chance on him.
Smith and Dippre figure to be Day 3 picks but could create value for themselves this week in Mobile.
The game is scheduled for Saturday, February 1st at 1:30 CST and will be airing on NFL Network.
