DraftKings has released the players with the best odds to win the Heisman during the 2025 college football season, and two Alabama quarterbacks are currently listed.
The Crimson Tide’s redshirt junior quarterback, Ty Simpson and redshirt sophomore quarterback, Austin Mack both made the cut with identical value to bring home the most prestigious award in college football with both of their odds at +6000 via DraftKings Sportsbook. Simpson served as the second-string quarterback for Alabama last season, behind starting quarterback Jalen Milroe. Mack served as the No. 4 quarterback behind Milroe, Simpson and now Alabama transfer, Dylan Lonergan.
Simpson has appeared in 16 games for the Crimson Tide since signing with Alabama in 2022 as a five-star out of Tennessee. Simpson has passed for 381 yards during his limited playing time while rushing for an additional 130 yards and three touchdowns.
Mack stands at 6-foot-6 and weighs 236 pounds.
The California native appeared in one contest since transferring from the University of Washington to Alabama in January of 2024. He completed two of three pass attempts for 39 yards and a touchdown in his one game of action.
Simpson, Mack, and 2025 prized five-star quarterback signee, Keelon Russell are all expected to be locked in a three-way battle for Alabama’s starting quarterback position.
