Alabama’s coaching staff is pursuing some of the top prospects in the country for the 2026 recruiting class. One of those prospects is five-star athlete Brandon Arrington. He listed Alabama on his initial top schools list on Tuesday along with several other SEC schools including Georgia, Texas A&M, and LSU. Arrington confirmed the news via his Instagram story.
Arrington is a priority target for the Crimson Tide. He made the trek from California to Alabama for Junior Day this past weekend.
“It was great,” Arrington told Touchdown Alabama. “Alabama is a high option.”
He has spoken highly of Alabama in several ways in the past as well.
“Everything about Alabama is good,” Arrington previously told Touchdown Alabama. “I feel like everything fits me; the city, the area, and the coaching staff.”
Arrington is listed as an athlete meaning he can play both sides of the ball. Alabama will likely allow Arrington to choose which position he wants to play at the college level. He stars on his school’s football team but also competes on the school’s track and field team. He ran a PR of 10.27 in the 100-meter dash and is said to have run a 4.38 in the 40-yard dash.
The California native will likely take an official visit to Alabama in the future. For now, Alabama will continue to stay in touch and battle other schools for Arrington’s commitment.
