Emanuel Ruffin feels Alabama football will definitely be a factor in his recruitment after earning an offer from the Tide and visiting Alabama over the weekend.

Ruffin is a product of Bessemer City High School in Bessemer, Alabama. He is a 2026 recruit, who is currently not ranked by most major recruiting sites. This will change very soon as his offer list continues to grow.

Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Vanderbilt and USC have all recently offered the in-state recruit.

Alabama is working to make sure they are one of the programs in the mix with Ruffin.

“They definitely going to play a role in my recruitment,” Ruffin told Touchdown Alabama.

Ruffin was in Tuscaloosa Saturday for the Crimson Tide’s Junior Day.

“I got to see around the facility, talked to Coach DeBoer and also talked to my position coach then went to the basketball game,” Ruffin said.

Alabama’s defensive line coach Freddie Roach extended Ruffin’s offer from the Tide.

“The world,” Ruffin said when asked what this offer meant to him. “God is the greatest. All my hard work and dedication are starting to pay off. I’m hungry for more though. It’s only the beginning, and it’s only up from here, back to the lab to make my weakness my strength and make my strengths even stronger.”

At 6-foot-5 and 290 pounds, Ruffin is projected to be an interior defensive lineman at the next level. He flashes power upon the rush and the ability to use his hands to get around blocks.
