Landon Dickerson is one of the former Alabama players, who will play for the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl.
Dickerson played under Saban in Tuscaloosa in 2019 and 2020. He was a member of the Tide’s 2020 National Championship team, starting at Center before an injury slowed down his last season at Alabama.
The North Carolina product thanked Saban at the Super Bowl’s media day when asked about the impact he had on him when asked by former Tide wideout, Slade Bolden.
“Coach Saban does a tremendous job with every guy that he coached and mentored, not only for big games and big moments in football but in life,” Dickerson said. “You’re going to have times, moments bigger than this, where you got to be a man and step up. And, you know, I think coach did a great job of kind of getting us ready. I appreciate everything he did for us.”
Dickerson will be task with protecting Jalen Hurts in the Super Bowl Sunday in New Orleans.
