Jalen Hurts led the Philadelphia Eagles to a win in Super Bowl 59 over the Kansas City Chiefs to end the Chiefs’ run at a three-peat.
The Eagles defeated the Chiefs 40-22 to capture the second Super Bowl victory in their franchise’s history. Hurts accounted for two touchdowns in the air and one on the ground.
The former Alabama and Oklahoma quarterback got the scoring rolling with a rushing touchdown in the first quarter to give the Eagles the early lead. He connected with A.J. Brown in the second quarter for a 12-yard connection. His biggest connection of the night came with his former Alabama teammate, DeVonta Smith.
Hurts hit Smith with a 46-yard score.
The future looks bright in Philadelphia with Hurts at the center.
