Former Alabama wide receiver DeVonta Smith became a part of history on Sunday.
The Philadelphia Eagles pass catcher became the fifth player of all-time to win the Heisman Trophy, a national title, and a Super Bowl. Smith joined the likes of Reggie Rush, Tony Dorsett, Marcus Allen, and Charles Woodson as players that have achieved all three feats.
Smith was an integral part of the Eagles offense in 2024. The Louisiana native reeled in 84 receptions for 1,023 yards and nine touchdowns.
On Sunday, he joined six other former Alabama players in winning the first Super Bowl of their career. Smith is on the path of paving his own legacy in the NFL and becoming one of the greatest wide receivers in Eagles history.
