Alabama assistant coach Nick Sheridan will be remaining on the coaching staff and serve as the team’s quarterbacks coach, according to multiple reports.
Sheridan spent this past season as Alabama’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
With Ryan Grubb assuming the offensive coordinator role, Sheridan takes a lesser role on the coaching staff. However, two coaches having experience as play-callers could pay dividends for the Crimson Tide during the 2025 season.
Sheridan has experience coaching two quarterbacks on Alabama’s roster. That is redshirt sophomore Austin Mack and redshirt junior Ty Simpson. He was also integral in helping Alabama land five-star Keelon Russell.
Sheridan will be tasked with developing and preparing his position group for a critical season that lies ahead in 2025.
