Luke Sorensen reported an offer from Alabama in January and is looking to visit the Tide in the spring.
Sorensen attends Servite High School in Anaheim, California. He garners a three-star rating from multiple recruiting sites at the moment, but he will have an opportunity to change this with his recent recruitment boost.
The California product picked up 18 offers in January including offers from Alabama, LSU, Texas, Texas A&M, Ole Miss and others.
Sorensen considers his offer from Alabama to be a big one.
“This offer is huge to me,” Sorensen told Touchdown Alabama. “I love the coaching staff and the program. The way they utilize the tight ends is second to none.”
Kalen DeBoer’s staff has had its fair share of success at recruiting on the West Coast. Sorensen respects what the Crimson Tide program currently stands.
“I love it,” said Sorensen. “It’s a great spot, and I love how they are trending.”
The 6-foot-2, 242-pounder is a do-it-all tight ends prospect, who displays strength in different aspects of his game. He shows power when blocking is a strong runner after the catch. Sorensen can also catch the football in traffic.
