Grant Haviland is looking forward to visiting Alabama football this spring after earning an Alabama offer.
Haviland is a sophomore tight end at Milton High School in Georgia. He holds more than 15 college football offers with offers from Alabama, Georgia, Miami, Texas and others.
The Georgia product has seen his recruitment grow in recent weeks with the Crimson Tide being the latest program to offer him.
“This offer means a lot to me, especially after watching them in the past and how dominant they’ve been,” Haviland told Touchdown Alabama.
The tight-end position was highlighted throughout Kalen DeBoer’s first season in Tuscaloosa as Alabama’s head coach. Haviland took notice.
“I like how they utilize multiple tight ends in their offense and use them in both the run and pass game,” Haviland said.
At 6-foot-5 and 225 pounds, the 2027 prospect is a willing blocker as an in-line tight end and when lined up at wide receiver with his ability to effectively stalk block. He also flashes the potential to be an effective route runner with solid hands.
