New docuseries highlights JaMarcus Shephard’s frustration with wide receiver efforts at times in 2024: ‘Ain’t nobody got no dog in them’

Alabama football’s wide receiver coach, JaMarcus Shephard was upset with the Crimson Tide’s efforts at wide receiver at times in 2024.

Fox Nation’s The Tide That Binds: Inside Alabama Football is giving an inside and in-depth look at the Crimson Tide’s 2024 season. The first episode took viewers into the Crimson Tide’s wide receiver room where it revealed a heated Shephard when he noticed Germie Bernard and Ryan Williams were the only Tide wideouts taking notes in a meeting.

“I’m tired of sugar coating for people in this room anymore,” Shephard said. “I’m not sugarcoating. It’s a telltale sign that our two receivers who have the most production in the room are the two taking notes right now…We gotta want it. Everybody wants to be cute. All these weak ass haircuts y’all got, all pristine. Ain’t nobody got no dog in them. Pull it up right now. Mileage from today, GPS mileage, the highest person in the room was Kendrick Law with 6,938 yards. Nope, he wasn’t the highest. The highest was Ryan Williams at 8,037 yards. It’s not even close. Kendrick was second. Let’s look at who had the highest speed today. Again. Ryan Williams ran 21.9 miles per hour.
There are only two other players on this team who are over 20.”

The series can be streamed on Fox Nation.
