Alabama football is still adding to their 2025 coaching staff with the addition of former Washington Huskies and New England Patriots coach, Tyler Hughes.

Hughes joins the Alabama coaching staff while reuniting with second-year Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer and offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb as their newest offensive analyst for the 2025 season.

This addition comes after Hughes spent the entire 2024 season as the New England Patriots’ wide receivers coach under Jerod Mayo, who was relieved of duties after just 17 games. Hughes had spent time under DeBoer and Grubb in Washington in 2023.

It will be interesting to see what Hughes can bring to the Alabama staff offensively in 2025.
