BREAKING: Georgia 2026 OL commits to Alabama

2026 interior offensive lineman Chris Booker announced his commitment to Alabama on Thursday evening via X.

Booker landed an offer from Alabama on February 1. The Georgia native fielded the offer following a visit to Tuscaloosa for Junior Day. He was the only visitor that did not hold an Alabama offer at the time. Now, he becomes the second 2026 recruit to commit to the Crimson Tide. The other being four-star cornerback Zyan Gibson.

Following the offer from Alabama, Booker spoke with Touchdown Alabama about what the offer meant to him.

“It means a lot,” Booker told Touchdown Alabama while discussing his offer from the Tide. “It’s been long awaited, and I am glad they pulled the trigger and made it happen.”

Booker is a prospect that has seemingly flown under-the-radar. He holds other power-four offers from Kentucky, Mississippi State, and Wake Forest. Needless to say, the Alabama coaching staff likes what they see from Booker.

The product of Hapeville Charter School is listed at 6-foot-4 and 270 pounds. He projects as an interior offensive lineman at the college level. That is the position that Alabama is recruiting Booker to play as well. In his commitment post on X, Booker said that he is, “1000% committed, Recruitment shut down! #RollTide”.
