The New Orleans Saints announced Thursday they will be hiring Doug Nussmeier as their new offensive coordinator under first-year head coach Kellen Moore, per NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

Nussmeier recently served as the Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterbacks coach while en route to them winning the Super Bowl this past season. He previously had stints in both the NFL and college game as an offensive coordinator and quarterback coach. Nussmeier most noticeably served as an assistant with Michigan State, St. Louis Rams, Dallas Cowboys, Alabama Crimson Tide, Michigan Wolverines, Florida Gators and the Los Angeles Chargers from 2003 to 2023.

The Saints are looking to get their franchise back on track.
