Geographical breakdown of Alabama’s 2025 roster

Alabama’s 2025 roster will feature players all around the world. There are players from 19 different states and three different countries. Alabama’s coaching staff has prided itself in recruiting coast to coast and has landed several players from outside the United States.

Regardless of how others feel, it is vastly important that Alabama has success on the recruiting trail in different areas of the country. In the past, Alabama has found its success by recruiting in-state, out-of-state, and occasionally players overseas.

Heading into 2025, Alabama is the state with the most players on Alabama’s roster. There are 22 players on the Tide’s roster that are from the Yellowhammer State.

Outside of Alabama, California (11), Texas (8), and Florida (6) are the most represented on Alabama’s roster.

Interestingly enough, Alabama has a player from Finland, Nigeria, and Canada — three countries that are not well-known for producing football talent.

Altogether, it is intriguing to see the demographic makeup of the roster. Not to mention, the numbers will change increased the spring transfer portal window opens up. Nevertheless, there is a lot that can be taken away from where players on the roster are from and how it impacts the future of the Alabama on and off the field.
