Former Alabama defensive line coach Bo Davis will be joining the New Orleans Saints coaching staff. He will serve as the Saints new defensive line coach.

Davis was a part of Alabama’s coaching staff on two separate occasions. He was the defensive line coach at Alabama from 2007-2010. Then, he returned for his second stint from 2014-2015.

The former LSU defensive lineman is well-known for the way that he motivates his players. He is able to get the best out of his group week-to-week.

Davis has coached for two NFL organizations in the past — the Miami Dolphins (assistant defensive line coach) and the Detroit Lions (defensive line coach).

The Saints have arguably one of the more premier defensive fronts in the NFL. It will be interesting to see how the group fares in the future under the direction of Davis.
