Bear McWhorter verbally committed to Michigan over Alabama and others on Friday.
McWhorter attends Cass High School in Georgia, and he is a 2026 four-star offensive line recruit.
The Crimson Tide were considered the favorite to land McWhorter earlier this month after hosting him for Junior Day. The four-star’s decision keeps the Tide’s 2026 recruiting class at three prospects with pledges from Zyan Gibson, Jamarion Matthews and Chris Booker.
