Alabama football announced Chuck Morrell as its new linebackers coach in 2025.
Morrell spent the 2024 season as a senior defensive analyst for Alabama under defensive coordinator, Kane Wommack. Morrell now takes over as the inside linebackers coach after previous stints as a co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach at Washington and Fresno State. Morrell also was a part of Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer’s championship-winning staff in Sioux Falls.
The Tide’s new linebacker coach will now be tasked with further developing an Alabama linebacker core filled with experience and potential.
