Alabama football’s freshman quarterback, Keelon Russell was listed at 6-foot-3 and 192 pounds on the Crimson Tide’s roster for spring practice.
Most recruiting sites considered Russell to be about 175 pounds as a five-star recruit although Duncanville High School reported Russell weighed 189 pounds as a senior to MaxPreps.
The freshman’s weight appears to be headed north and any doubts about his size as a freshman may be coming to an end as he is set to compete for an opportunity to start in year one in Tuscaloosa.
The Crimson Tide start spring practice this week, and Russell will be a focal point.
