Alabama football’s quarterback battle is going to continue to drive conversations about the Crimson Tide this spring.
The Tide kicked off spring practice Monday with Ty Simpson, Keelon Russell and Austin Mack battling for the QB1 title. DeBoer was asked about how Alabama’s signal callers looked in the first practice in his press conference immediately after the conclusion of practice.
“They’re all at different points, but few things, procedure-wise, that are a little different,” DeBoer said. “Good to see those guys all operate through that. They all had their times, of course, where they look really good and times where they got to continue to grow and get better.”
