Alabama’s second spring practice took place on Wednesday morning. Afterwards, the media caught up with several players. One of which was senior wide receiver Germie Bernard who seemed to be excited to team up with wide receiver Isaiah Horton.
“I think with him we’re gonna be able to do a lot of great things. He can stretch the field, he can catch the ball, and make contested catches,” Bernard said, “I’m very excited to play beside him.”
Horton transferred to Alabama during the offseason from Miami. He was one of the most coveted pass catchers in the transfer portal and rightfully so.
In three seasons in Coral Gables, Horton recorded 70 catches for 790 yards and six touchdowns.
The Tennessee native has the potential to be an impact player in Alabama’s offense in 2025. As Bernard alluded to, Horton has played with some great wide receivers and a quarterback in Cam Ward that is bound to be a first round pick.
He understands what it takes to play at a high level and will strive to do so as a redshirt junior in Tuscaloosa.
