Alabama football’s offense is under new leadership this spring with Ryan Grubb stepping in and with Nick Sheridan shifting to coaching quarterbacks.

Grubb has now had an opportunity to look back at how the Crimson Tide performed under Sheridan in 2024 in preparation for his stint as the Tide’s coordinator in 2025. He revealed his thoughts on the offense during his Wednesday media availability.

“There’s some really talented guys,” Grubb said. “I thought they did a really good job of using Jalen (Milroe) with his legs. I know that’s not necessarily what Jalen wants to be known for. You know, he wants to be a quarterback, and he is very good one. But I thought they did a good job utilizing talent, finding ways to be creative, getting the ball down the field. But I thought there was a lot of good players out there. I thought there’s a lot of talent that we could utilize.”

The Crimson Tide will continue spring practice through March and will conclude practice on April 12.
