The Seattle Seahawks announced that they re-signed former Alabama cornerback Josh Jobe on Thursday via the team’s official X account.
Jobe played at Alabama from 2018-2021. He was a two-year starter for the Crimson Tide. The Connecticut native had a strong career in Tuscaloosa. He finished his career with 129 tackles and three interceptions.
He went undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft and signed as an undrafted free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles. He spent two seasons with the Eagles before being waived in 2024.
Jobe signed with the Seahawks practice squad three weeks later. He was promoted to the active roster almost three months later.
He finished the 2024 season with 37 tackles, seven pass deflections, and one interception.
His lone season in the “Home of the 12th man” was enough for him to earn a new contract with the Seahawks. Needless to say, it will be interesting to see how his career pans out in Seattle.
