Brayden Rouse is considering taking an official visit to the University of Alabama after visiting the Tide for spring practice last week.
Rouse is a 2026 four-star linebacker out of Kell High School in Marietta, Georgia.
The four-star had a huge January when he picked up offers from Alabama, Auburn, Ohio State, Arizona State, Florida Atlantic, Florida State, Georgia, Texas A&M, Ohio State, Texas and others.
The Crimson Tide got him on campus Friday to watch spring practice.
“I honestly love how practice went,” Rouse told Touchdown Alabama. “It’s definitely the type of environment that I want to be a part of, and the competition level is second to none. That is something that stood out to me. The standard they have at Alabama is something that is extremely high value.”
The four-star previously expressed his respect for the Alabama program when the Tide offered him in January.
“They have been one of the most dominant programs in the last couple years and with the new coaching change, I feel that they are on a good path,” said Rouse.
The game of football is constantly evolving and the use of athletic linebackers continues to be a major part of the evolution. Rouse is the exact linebacker type many college coaches are drooling over at the moment with his 6-foot-3, 208-pound frame. He can play in space, drop back in coverage, get after the quarterback rushing from the edge and make plays on the ball on offense and defense.
Rouse finished his 2024 season with 105 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and five pass breakups. He also added 25 catches for 378 yards and eight touchdowns.
