LT Overton made his presence felt along Alabama football’s defensive front in 2024 after transferring from Texas A&M.
Overton started in four games and saw action in all 13 games for the Tide last season. He led the Tide in quarterback hurries with nine in 2024 to go along with 42 total tackles, two sacks and three tackles for loss.
The senior feels the game has slowed down for him heading into year four.
“Feel like I’m back in high school,” Overton said. It’s just everything clicks now. It’s not just me freezing up or trying to overthink anything. It’s just everything set in front of me. It’s just, how am I going to handle it now.”
Overton will now look to turn some of his quarterback hurries into sacks as he is expected to be one of the best at getting after the quarterback in 2025.
