In Week 6, Alabama will face Missouri on the road. The Crimson Tide will take on the Tigers two weeks after traveling to Athens to play Georgia.
In 2024, Alabama followed up a thrilling win against Georgia with a disappointing loss to Vanderbilt. Could Alabama overlook the Tigers and be in a similar position in 2025? I certainly think so.
Missouri will have a retooled roster tin 2025 hat is headlined by transfers Beau Pribula, Ahmad Hardy, Damon Wilson, and Josiah Trotter. The Tigers will also return four starters on offense and six starters on defense.
One of the looming question marks surrounding the Alabama football program is how will it handle success under the direction of Kalen DeBoer. In 2024, Alabama would win big games and lose in games that they were heavy favorites. This game will likely fit into the second category.
Missouri will likely be playing with a lot of passion and pride. The Tigers will be aiming to avenge a 34-0 loss to Alabama in 2024.
In the past, Alabama has had a wealth of success against the Tigers. If Alabama is not careful, that trend could change during the 2025 season.
