Tranard Roberts added an offer from Alabama football to his offer list this week.
Roberts is a 2027 running back prospect out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He holds previous offers from Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, Miami, Tennessee and others.
Roberts’ offer from the Crimson Tide is one he has been working hard for. The offer is expected to serve as motivation for him.
“I’ve been building a great relationship with coach G (Gillespie) and working hard even with him at camp to get to this point, but the grind doesn’t stop here,” Roberts said.
The four-star went on to give his overall thoughts on the Alabama football program.
“Great overall program, if not the best in college football history,” Roberts told Touchdown Alabama when asked about how he felt about the Tide.
At 5-foot-11 and 195 pounds, Roberts is a tenacious runner out of the backfield who looks to fight for extra yards every time he touches the football. He is also explosive. This explosiveness can be seen when he is carrying the football and catching the ball out of the backfield.
“As a running back, I feel like I’m great at route running and catching the ball.” said Roberts. “I’m very dynamic which is not very common.”
