Ben Congdon plans to get back to Tuscaloosa for an official visit after visiting the Crimson Tide and earning an offer earlier this week.
Congdon attends Tuscarawas Valley High School in Ohio, and he is a 2026 four-star offensive lineman prospect, who is committed to Miami.
Alabama got Congdon on campus on Tuesday and offered him during the visit. The four-star said he was grateful to earn an offer from the Crimson Tide.
“This means a lot,” Congdon told Touchdown Alabama. “It’s Alabama football, one of the best programs in all of college football. It’s amazing how serious they are about winning and the culture of the program.”
Congdon now plans to take an official visit to the University of Alabama this summer in hopes of learning more about the Alabama football program.
The 6-foot-8, 285-pounder, packs a strong punch and tends to destroy defenders when he is striking while blocking. He also displays an understanding and the ability to perform a variety of blocking schemes effectively. He shines when paving the way for ball carriers.
“I’m very physical and am very athletic for my size and frame compared to others,” said Congdon.
