California native and 2027 prospect, Jayden Aparicio-Bailey is seeing his recruitment grow in Alabama.

Aparicio-Bailey attends Oak Mountain High School in Birmingham, Alabama, but he grew up in California. His early offer list consists of offers from Arkansas, Missouri, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt and others. His early success on the recruiting front is something the sophomore wants to use as motivation.

“It’s awesome, but I know it’s more to get,” the rising prospect said. “It just gives me the drive to get more offers.

Former Alabama wide receiver, Mike McCoy is helping mold the Oak Mountain product at the Maximum Performance Institute when he is not putting in work on the field.

The Crimson Tide have not offered Aparicio-Bailey yet, but this could change. The Tide have a track record of liking defensive backs from the state of California, and he now resides in their backyard.

“Ever since I was a little kid in California, all you heard about was Alabama, the legacy, the great Nick Saban era,” Aparico-Bailey said. “I’ve been up there one time. It’s an amazing school.”

USC is a dream school for Aparicio-Bailey.

At 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, the 2027 prospect displays great anticipation and feel for the game while lining up at safety.

“I got great length on the field, but I am not just physical,” he said. “I got a great mental. I know the feel of the game. I will say I’m a film junkie.”
