Kadin Fife reported an offer from Alabama football on Monday, adding to his steadily growing offer list.
Fife attends Chattooga High School in Summerville, Georgia, but he is originally from Cedar Bluff, Alabama. He is now one of the best defensive lineman prospects in the 2027 recruiting class with offers from Georgia, Miami, Tennessee, North Carolina and others.
The Crimson Tide are the latest to offer Fife, and it is a significant offer.
“It means a lot growing up in Alabama and growing up as an Alabama fan,” Fife told Touchdown Alabama. “They are a really great program, known for winning. Last year was a rebuilding year, but I think they’re back on track now.”
Alabama hosted the sophomore for a visit when he earned the offer. He got to watch the Crimson Tide’s practice during his time in Tuscaloosa.
“It was very intense,” Fife said. “Everybody was going hard.”
The 6-foot-5, 295-pounder flashed dominance in the trenches during the 2024 season with his power and explosive get-off. There was a time he was a step ahead of the offensive linemen he went up against as he was almost in full stride while the opposing offensive linemen were just getting out of their stance.
“I think my ability to get off the ball is my biggest strength,” said Fife.
