Alabama football wide receiver, Isaiah Horton is confident in himself and his new Crimson Tide teammates.
Horton decided to join the Crimson Tide after entering the transfer portal. The Tennessee product played for Miami for three seasons and racked up 790 yards and pulled in six touchdowns during his time with the Hurricanes.
The Crimson Tide Sports Network had Horton as a guest recently, and Horton shared the Crimson Tide were locked in.
“We’re taking it very serious,” Horton said. “We understand, like I’ve been saying, we understand what’s ahead of us. We understand we have the team to accomplish what we need to accomplish. All we got to do is just keep our head down, grind and go on and on every day.”
Horton has been one of the biggest storylines surrounding the Crimson Tide this spring. He was a stand out in the Tide’s first scrimmage, per multiple sources.
Former Alabama quarterback, Greg McElroy recently raved about what he is hearing about the addition of Horton.
“There’s a lot of people, there’s a ton of buzz right now that’s out there about what they’ve received from Isaiah Horton, the transfer from Miami,” McElroy said while discussing Alabama’s wide receiver room on ESPN’s “Always College Football.” “He’s big, he’s physical. They believe that he is a guy that can take the top off the defense and create big plays. He’s been very difficult to defend for a pretty good secondary so far this year, by all accounts. He had a couple touchdowns in the scrimmage against the top team defense. He had a couple of very contested catches there as well.”
