Ace Alston feels he has a connection with Alabama football.

Alston attends Anderson High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, and he garners a four-star rating from most recruiting sites. He holds offers from Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Oregon and a long list of other programs.

The Crimson Tide offered Alston when they got him on campus over the weekend. The offer is one many of his family members are proud of him for earning.

“I have a lot of family down that way,” Alston said. “It’s an amazing program, and I’m making a lot of them proud with that one.”

Alston’s visit allowed him to catch up with Alabama players and coaches.

“It is an excellent program,” said Alston. “They developed a lot of athletes for the NFL. They have state-of-the-art equipment. I loved my conversation with coach Mo (Maurice Linguist). He has experience in the NFL, and he is an overall great guy.”

The Ohio product is a willing tackler, who has no problem with coming downhill to make tackles in run support. He also displays a great feel at defensive back for where the football is going when he displays his ability to anticipate where the quarterback is going to throw.
