Jett Washington confirmed his plans to officially visit Alabama football this weekend for A-Day with Touchdown Alabama.
Washington is a product of Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, and he is considered to be one of the top safety prospects in the 2026 class. He is also the nephew of basketball hall-of-famer, Kobe Bryant.
The Crimson Tide has played a significant role in Washington’s recruitment since offering him in August. They got him on campus for an unofficial visit during the season, and he spoke highly of Alabama’s secondary after the visit.
“Their defense is elite and have great defensive backs,” said Washington. “They fly around and make plays.”
The 6-foot-4, 200-pounder is a physical ball-hawk in the secondary for Bishop Gorman. He can cover a lot of ground effectively while playing over the top with impressive closing speed and anticipation on the backend.
