NFL analyst Daniel Jeremiah recently said that he has heard Jalen Milroe’s name being connected to the Cleveland Browns.

Milroe is projected to be a Day 1 or Day 2 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. The former Alabama signal-caller has been linked to a handful of teams in recent weeks including the Pittsburgh Steelers, New Orleans Saints, and the Browns.

It is worth noting that the Browns held a private workout with Milroe, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

The Browns are an intriguing option, because they currently hold the No. 2 pick in the draft. The expectation is that the organization drafts a quarterback or Travis Hunter. If the Browns select Hunter, there is a lot of smoke suggesting that the Browns are willing to trade back into the first round to select a quarterback.

Milroe had his share of ups and downs last season with the Crimson Tide. The Texas native had a great start to the season but struggled to finish the season on a good note, oftentimes turning the ball over and displaying a lot of inconsistencies in his game.

Multiple NFL teams remain high on Milroe despite his struggles. A large reason for that is because those teams believe his ceiling is higher than his floor is low. He has a lot left to prove and has just scratched the surface of what he is capable of achieving at the next level. Milroe has the potential to be a successful quarterback in the NFL, but he still has some things that he needs to work on before that is possible.
