LT Overton is the latest member of the Alabama football program to speak highly of of the Tide’s defensive lineman, Jeremiah Beaman, this spring.

Beaman appears to have taken a major step forward in his game. The Birmingham, Alabama native has been consistently highlighted by his teammates as of late.

Overton feels the future is very bright for the former four-star.

“Beaman is gonna be that guy,” Overton said Monday as a guest on “Hey Coach.”  “People lack that he’s a young guy, but he’s definitely proven. He’s stepping up this year.”

Alabama’s offensive lineman, Geno VanDeMark recently put a spotlight on Beaman as someone, who looks different this spring.

“Beaman and Edric, they look a lot different,” VanDeMark said. “They’re playing a lot different, faster, more physical, just better defensive lineman than they were previously, and they’re giving us some trouble. They’re good players.”

Beaman only saw action in three games in 2024 for the Crimson Tide. His playing time looks to be on pace to skyrocket in 2025.
