College football Hall of Fame head coach, Nick Saban has been nominated for an award at this year’s 46th annual Sports Emmys Awards.
Saban was nominated Tuesday as one of the five nominees under the category of outstanding personality/emerging on-air talent. This recognition for Saban comes approximately 15 months after his retirement announcement. He is nominated for the award for his performance on ESPN College Gameday.
The other nominees for the award are Richard Sherman, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Jason Kelce and Jay Wright.
The awards ceremony will take place from Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City on Tuesday, May 20.
