There are a plethora of Alabama players that are on the fringe of being impactful players for the Crimson Tide.

When recently asked by ESPN’s Chris Low, Alabama wide receiver Germie Bernard revealed three players that he believes will emerge as impact players for the 2025 season.

The three players that Bernard listed were defensive backs Zavier Mincey and Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. as well as wide receiver Rico Scott.

Each player will be entering his second season with the program.

Mincey played the most of the three last season. The Florida native played in 13 games with one start. He recorded 16 tackles and two pass breakups. His length and versatility should certainly help Mincey see the field more often in 2025. Mincey will play a mix of safety and the Husky position.

Kirkpatrick Jr. is a player that has been talked about in the media this spring. The Alabama legacy has worked at both safety and Husky as well. Kirkpatrick Jr. is a big play waiting to happen. According to sources, he has reeled in multiple interceptions this spring.

Scott is a wide receiver that is overlooked at times. The Pennsylvania native had the potential to be a difference maker at the receiver position next season. He put some of that on display in Alabama’s bowl loss to Michigan. Scott had two touches for 37 yards.

There is a lot of young talent on Alabama’s roster, but the three players that Bernard mentioned are at the top of the list. It will be interesting to see how each of them perform in Tuscaloosa during the 2025 season.
