The Cleveland Browns’ head coach Kevin Stefanski reportedly loves what Jalen Milroe can develop into at the next level.
Ken Carman of 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland, Ohio made the report on “The Ken Carman Show” on Thursday.
“I had a person call me yesterday, I said they worked out Jackson Dart, they worked out Jalen Milroe. Jackson Dart seems to fit everything that Kevin Stefanski has done historically,” Carman said. “Jalen Milroe, it’s been a quarterback that they’ve been chasing for a long time. And they go, ‘Kenny, you don’t see the force for the trees.’ I go, what? And they said ‘Kenny, we believe the coach loves him.’ I go who’s him? ‘Jalen Milroe.’ I say what? I said you gotta be bleeping. And he goes, ‘nope, loves him.’ And I went, huh? And I thought it goes, the theory goes against everything that he’s done historically, but also Kevin Stefanski is a guy that has to think forward and knows that the position’s going to change. There will be more Jalen Milroe’s in the world than there’s going to be Kirk Cousins in the world coming soon. We know this, don’t we? So is Kevin chasing something that maybe he’s not able to do.”
Milroe has reportedly met with the Browns and had an ‘impressive’ private workout with them, per Fox Sports’ NFL Insider, Jordan Schultz.
Milroe is expected to attend the 2025 NFL Draft later this month.
