Alabama football’s wide receiver, Germie Bernard strongly believes the Crimson Tide could have the best receiving core in the country heading into the 2025 season.
Bernard’s confidence stems from his return to Tuscaloosa after leading Alabama in receptions last season. This assured feeling is also accompanied by the Crimson Tide’s revamped wide receiver room that features an array of talented pass catchers to help supplement he and sophomore wide receiver, Ryan Williams. The Alabama wideout was asked if he feels the Tide could have the nation’s best receiving core in 2020, and he provided a confident answer.
“No doubt,” Bernard answered. “Most definitely.”
Bernard validates his statement by discussing the various skillsets the Tide receivers possess.
“It’s a room that has everything, all the attributes an offense could want,” Bernard said. “It’s a room filled with receivers who can do everything. We got a lot of speed, we got a lot of strength. We got guys that can block, we got guys that can make contested catches. We got guys that are tough. We got guys that can get open.”
One of those guys Bernard is alluding to is talented Miami Hurricanes transfer, Isaiah Horton. Horton also recently expressed his belief in the Alabama receiver core this spring, saying they’re “going to be special” in a recent interview with the Crimson Tide Sports Network.
