Alabama center Parker Brailsford spoke to the media on Thursday following the final spring scrimmage. The redshirt junior was asked about how the communication has been this spring between the players and coaches.
“I’ve seen a lot more growth just from everybody like the staff. Even just communication between the coaches and players and even players to players, like it’s been a lot better,” Brailsford said, “I think it’s just cause guys are getting more comfortable and guys are starting to understand like I mean to do this, we’re gonna have to talk to each other. Make sure everybody’s on the same page.”
Brailsford is entering his second season at Alabama and will be thrust into more of a leadership role this season. Given the departure of Tyler Booker, Brailsford is widely expected to be the main leader of the offensive line. His comfortability and familiarity with the program should be beneficial for him as he looks to have another successful year in 2025.
When asked about a personal goal that Brailsford might have, he responded by saying he wants to win the Joe Moor Award, which is awarded annually to the most consistent, tough, and finishing offensive line unit in college football. That would certainly be a step in the right direction for the program as well as the offensive line.
