Alabama football fans had mixed reactions to the Crimson Tide deciding to have a practice in the place of a traditional spring game on A-Day.
Touchdown Alabama asked members of the Alabama faithful what were their thoughts on the change, and this is what they had to say via X:
And how many injuries have we had in the past like Bo Scarbrough with a torn ACL I’ve been to many this was more than satisfactory and no one got hurt. Only thing that matters is game one Florida State.

I like DeBoer taking control over the rat poison. Now you can’t push many narratives about who should be what. Everyone got reps in and some interacted with fans.

Not a fan! We should scrim another college team for ADay game. These numbers were horrific.

Spring game was always a bit lame, but this format made it no reason to go.
I’d rather see some form of fan engagement or something similar to what the NFL does with the probowl

Prefer game due to cheap experience but I’m good with newer format if it keeps kids from transferring during the summer

the A day game was always exciting to look forward to. not anymore. not a good idea to do away with it

Sore subject with me right now. I always look forward to my A-DAY fix to get me through the off season. And after a season like last year I needed a bright light at the end of the tunnel. I do not like what’s going on in Tuscaloosa right now. I don’t like it at all.

Sucks but we had some injuries and without ryan and some other WRs limited we can’t see offense or scheme at full strength plus we will run vanilla stuff like everyone else
