DeShawn Spencer’s recruitment has picked up steam over the last few months.
Spencer currently holds offers from Auburn, Houston, South Florida, Memphis and others. He is one of the more productive wide receivers in the state of Alabama and aims to continue the tradition of successful wide receivers at Saraland High School.
Georgia Tech was among the first programs to offer Spencer. He recently visited the Yellow Jackets.
“Georgia Tech is a good program,” Spencer said while discussing his visit. “I met with some of the coaches, and I like their offensive scheme.”
Spencer has multiple visits lined up with a few schools standing out to him.
“I have plans to visit Mississippi State, South Florida, Tulane and Auburn in the near future,” said Spencer. “The schools that are standing out to me the most are Houston and South Florida.”
Spencer is listed at 5-foot-11 and 170 pounds. He is coming off a productive junior campaign, where he posted 54 catches, 1,220 yards and 16 touchdowns.
