Alabama football’s linebacker, Jihaad Campbell has always been praised for his freak athleticism, but it’s his leadership traits he is most proud of.
Campbell is one of the top linebackers heading into the 2025 NFL Draft after an impactful three-year career at Alabama. This impact goes beyond the gridiron for Campbell, who is also highlighted for his leadership qualities.
The IMG Academy product used his previous experiences playing behind multiple leaders on the Alabama defense in seasons past to explain the origin of how these traits came about Thursday during an appearance on “Good Morning Football.”
“Just coming in as a freshman and just being one of those guys that tries to do the right thing,” Campbell said. “Try to be around the guys like Henry To’oTo’o, Will Anderson, Dallas Turner, my guy Chris Braswell that’s at Tampa right now. So, just understanding that vocal leadership role and knowing how to hold others accountable, as well as yourself.”
Campbell now hopes to continue following in the footsteps of his former Alabama teammates, who led before him as he transitions to the NFL.
