Jack Sammarco confirmed his intentions to transfer to the University of Alabama on Wednesday.
Sammarco entered the transfer portal on April 17 after a year at West Virginia. He pulled in one reception for four yards during his true freshman season in 2024.
The Ohio product stands at 6-foot-5 and weighs approximately 240 pounds. He transfers to Alabama with three years of eligibility remaining.
The tight end position was considered a priority for Alabama to target the moment spring practice concluded, and the Crimson Tide had one active scholarship tight end.
