Alabama football extended an offer to Neimann Lawrence last week.
Lawrence attends Miami Northwestern in Miami, Florida. He is a member of the 2028 recruiting class, and he already holds college football offers from some of the top programs in the country including Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State and Oregon.
The freshman has always respected Alabama as one of college football’s top programs.
“I have always seen Alabama as an elite program,” Lawrence told Touchdown Alabama. “This coming season I am looking forward to seeing how they do with a new quarterback and a fairly new coach.”
The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder looked comfortable working around the pocket while escaping pressure and keeping his eyes down the field on his junior film. He also showed an ability to make different throws, including the deep ball, hitting wide receivers in stride going across the middle and effectively hitting post routes. These are all parts of Lawrence’s game he considers to be his strengths.
“I believe some strengths of my game include being able to maneuver throughout the pocket, being able to extend plays and keeping my eyes downfield to make a play happen, also my ability to be able to make majority of the throws on the field,” Lawrence said.
