A key member of the Philadelphia Eagles was missing from the team’s visit to the White House on Monday.
Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts.
Just ahead of the Eagles taking stage with President Donald Trump, it was reported by NBC that Hurts would not be in attendance due to “scheduling conflicts.”
This comes after Hurts declined to answer if he would attend during a red carpet appearence at the Time 100 Gala.

Team owner Jeffrey Lurie clarified that attendance to the White House was optional for players to celebrate it’s 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
This is the second Eagles Super Bowl victory under a Trump administration, with it’s first coming back in 2017 when it defeated the New England Patriots 41-33. Following that victory, no Eagles players visited Trump at the White House.
