Florida DL open to adjusting recruitment with latest Alabama offer

Photo Courteous of Brian Harris

Brian Harris reported an offer from Alabama football on last week, and it looks to have made an immediate impact on his recruitment.

Harris is a product of Mandarin High School in Florida and is a 2026 prospect. He holds previous offers from Penn State, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Michigan and others.

The Florida product may have recently earned his offer from Alabama, but he is familiar with the Alabama program and its coaching staff.

“Alabama is one of the most respected programs in college football, historic success, elite player development and a serious NFL pipeline,” Harris said. “They’re known for their toughness, attention to detail, and high-level competition every day in practice. With Coach Roach leading the D-line and the tradition they’ve built, it’s definitely a place built for guys who want to be great.”

The 6-foot-4, 290-pounder is comfortable operating from different spots along the defensive front with his versatility. He possesses a quick twitch and displays active hands en route to causing disruption in the backfield.
