Kaleb Elkins is interested in learning more about Alabama football after earning an offer from the Crimson Tide.

Elkins is a product of Warren Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. He holds recent offers from Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee and others. Elkins’ offer from Alabama means a lot and exemplifies his hard work paying off.

“My parents have always talked to me about these moments, but for the moment to arrive so quick is amazing,” Elkins told Touchdown Alabama. “A year ago I was at another school preparing to play junior varsity quarterback.”

The Indiana product is very familiar with Alabama, but he respects what he has seen from the program.

“I don’t know a lot about the program, but Alabama’s program to me means greatness,” Elkins said. “They’re probably the most winningest team since I’ve started watching football.”

The 6-foot-3, 182-pounder is a long defensive back, who shows a great feel for the game at safety. He is built like a cornerback which could give him the opportunity to be a versatile defensive back at the next level. He considers himself to be a film junkie.

“I feel like I do everything well,” said Elkins. “I think being dynamic is what sets me apart. One thing I don’t think people take into consideration is how much film I watch. I’ll breakdown film on other teams, and my dad breakdowns the film on me.”
